2014 was my first full season in the Celtic Speed Scottish Mini Cooper Cup driving for Tim Sleigh Racing.Originally, I started out in rental karts at the age of 14 at my local circuit. I then took part in the British Schools Karting Championship making it all the way to the national finals before being asked to join an all-girls karting team in the Elite Karting League where I went on to become the first female in EKL history to win a race. I was also scouted out by a Swiss International endurance kart team who invited me to compete with them in a 24hr endurance event in Dubai where one of my competitors was none other than F1’s Fernando Alonso! Whilst still in my rental kart years, I also studied mechanics to gain knowledge of how a car works in preparation for making the jump from karts to cars after joining a Knockhill based race team called Minimax Motorsport as a race weekend assistant. Minimax then helped me get behind the wheel of a Scottish MINI for half a season in 2013. After leaving for a year to race with Tim Sleigh Racing, I then re-joined Minimax Motorsport where I have been ever since.
